Founder

The Lake County Pet Expo was founded in 2008 by Vivian Vallone of "Luv for Animals" Pet Sitting. Vivian was looking for a way to give back to both the animals that enriched her life as well as those who helped those animals enrich the lives of others. She started The Lake County Expo and its unique "give back" formula to do just that.

Mission Statement

Lake County Pet Expo is not like other expos because we are not about keeping profits. Our expo uses the profit from our show to support the attending rescue agencies and shelters. Money is divided evenly between the participating organizations to support them in their efforts. We seek to develop working relationships not only between ourselves and rescue organizations, but between the rescues themselves. We seek to promote animal education of all kinds and hope we can be a small part of the success of the continued efforts of rescues and shelters to save the animals we all love and cherish.
